EVENTS
StoryMade Studio’s storytelling also extends to producing live events and all related content marketing. StoryMade collaborated with a team of local writers and Litquake, the original San Francisco literary festival, to produce the first Litquake event in the Sausalito Houseboat community. The festival ran for two years and included music, food, and headliner authors Stuart Brand and Piper Kerman.
"Rachel helped to conceive and organize Words on the Waves, Lit Quake's first ever event on the Sausalito houseboats. It was a great success - fun, smart, and with a twist of eccentricity. Whether it's programming content, writing copy, or organizing the smallest details, she produces media and literary-oriented events with humor and enthusiasm." –Jack Boulware, writer, and founder of Lit Quake.
We also worked with the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley on a series of alumni events and the event, “Should We Trust the Media?” which we produced in collaboration with the New York Ethical Culture Society, featuring Adam Moss, the late Helen Thomas, Richard Stengel, Jeff Jarvis, and Randall Pinkston.
